Design philosophy
Clarity in the interface. Confidence in every action.
BluUI helps people understand where they are, what they can do, and what happens next. Four principles guide our components and the patterns that connect them.
Clarity
Make the next step obvious.
Give each screen a clear purpose. Use direct labels, a visible primary action, and a hierarchy that separates the task from supporting information.
Action hierarchy →Consistency
Make familiar actions feel familiar.
Reuse the same components, spacing, and color roles across the application. People should be able to carry what they learn on one screen into the next.
Color and meaning →Feedback
Show what changed.
Make selection, loading, and unsaved work visible. Confirm outcomes clearly. When something fails, explain the next step and preserve the work already done.
Editing and saving →Accessibility
Keep every task within reach.
Support keyboard and pointer interaction, visible focus, and readable contrast. Pair color with text, and keep content usable as the screen gets smaller.
Accessibility principles and audit →Apply these principles to a complete workflow.
